Fundraising Matrix

Funding Matrix

Our Fundraising activities means that we get are fortunate to receive support from all sorts of people in all sorts of different ways.

We raise funds from corporations both in terms of corporate donations and in sponsorship – every item we are given means we can bundle more into the grants and awards, which of course means that we then have more money to allocate to yet more grants.

Our primary source of funds, though, comes from private individuals – both from what we term High Net Worths who have a serious tax challenge and are looking for tax efficient ways to make significant donations and those of us with out such nice problems to solve, who are happy to give what they can afford knowing that every donation of whatever size helps to make a difference.

Grant Matrix

Because the Foundation is a 501 C (3) Registered Not For Profit company you can use our receipt that we send you as proof of your donation when it comes to working out your tax liability at the end of the year!

So whether you are a professional, semi-professional, hobbyist or just someone who loves looking at compelling images you can help. Of course we’d love it if that help was financial, but offers of support, offers to spread the word via blogs, facebook groups, twitter is just as powerful. We can’t do this on our own, but together we can be a real force for good.

We do have a rigorous anti-fraud capability on our website and of course we vet very carefully companies and large donations from private individuals. Its part of our ethical code to ensure that we are raising money responsibly.

The two graphs show how the typical fundraising matrix is split between those categories and, just as importantly how we then allocated those funds into the grants and awards that we give out on an annual basis. The more you all give the more we can hand out!

Obviously in our first year of operation these figures in the charts represent the planned matrix rather than the actual, but we’ll correct that next year!!
